today is college day.. and the band is going to hav a small mini performance in the hall.. 1230 report to band room.. did our usual warm up, tunings and abit of sectionals.. after that main band tune in + warm up.. yea and by around 1520 we are already in the hall.. it was super damn cold.. and I was sitting under one of the air con!! was shivering non-stop.. we played hawaii 5-0, stand by me, el bimbo.. and finally gloriosa.. to me the playing was not satisfactory.. after that move back all the percussion instru and back to band room again..
we've got some catered food in the canteen.. so kw n me went to get a few packets and went back bandrm to eat.. while playing bridge.. Kenneth and me joined the percussion sect for dinner at tm long john.. den kw kenneth and me had a little competition.. see who can hold an ice cube longest using 2 fingers.. haha the ice was damn cold and around 1 min later our 2 fingers were all numb and pain!! den we went to try with 2 hands.. and had different ways of putting the ice.. ok enough of that.. around 2100 kw eileen kenneth and me decide to go esplanade to walk and hang around.. there was an outdoor performace by a 3-man jazz band.. 1 singer holding guitar.. 1 tenor saxophonist, oso an organ player and 1 percussionist.. the mini concert was really fantastic and impressive.. esp the saxophonist!! he like damn zai.. his way of improvising the music, ad lib, tone and volume was super nice.. he even noe how to play the organ.. the pro type and nt any old how.. wha seh.. and 50% of the time he closes his eye and play de.. pei fu pei fu.. 2300 the performace end.. eileen went off first.. left me kenneth and kw taking the mrt..
reach home 0015.. zzZz.. was damn tired today.. went online awhile.. 0115.. I unknowingly fell asleep on the bed..
